About Me
Hi! I am a Professor of Computer Science at Florida International University where I direct the Systems Research Laboratory. My work has focused on computer systems and software, including operating systems, distributed systems, storage systems, computer security, and real-time systems as well as application domains such as web services, databases, cloud computing, and mobile computing. I am a recipient of the NSF CAREER award, the Department of Energy Early CAREER Principal Investigator (ECPI) award, an Intel University Research Office (URO) Award, the IBM Faculty Award, Seagate Technology research award, and Faculty Fellowship awards from NetApp. My University webpage has more information about my research and teaching activities. Background and Education
I received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Previously I earned a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.
